Master Maker Commission & Listing Terms
Between your workshop and Renaissance ML LLC. One page, five clauses: what you quote is what you're paid.
You set your bench price and lead time
You quote the exact bench price and the lead time in weeks for each piece. Renaissance never asks you to discount for buyers it brings you.
Marketplace and social listing permission
You permit Renaissance to list the piece at your quoted price on renaissanceml.com and shop.renaissanceml.com, and to feature it, with its price, on @canyoumakethis, @dailydavinci, @renaissance_marketplace, always crediting your workshop.
0% commission on your own clients
Clients who come to you through your direct Guild link (/guild/m/your-workshop) pay no marketplace commission; only standard card processing applies. For buyers Renaissance brings you, Renaissance adds its marketplace margin above your bench quote, so you net 100% of your quote.
50 / 50 milestone payouts
50% of your bench quote is released when the order is confirmed and the Four Causes spec sheet is signed, to start fabrication. The other 50% is released on completion, when you send 4 studio inspection photos of the finished piece, before white-glove pickup.
The Four Causes spec and change orders
Each commission is governed by its Four Causes spec sheet: material, form, making and purpose. Once fabrication has started, any change the buyer asks for needs a written change order that you approve, with its price and time.
