Privacy

This page covers renaissanceml.com: Renaissance, the Hiram Guild and Edeneum. We collect what we need to run them and to learn what to build next. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect

• Your account: name, email and picture, when you sign in.
• What you give us: forms you send (applications, requests, contact), your Edeneum passport particulars (date of birth, place of birth, nationality, tribe, mailing address), and the answer you write when booking a call.
• What you buy: the books you take from the Codex, and what you paid. Card details stay with Stripe.
• Your reading: in Edeneum, your library, how far you are in each chapter, and each full reading (the Metals and points on your Path).
• How the site is used: pages visited, features used (for example the reader's layers and study aids), links followed, where a visit came from, and your device and browser type.

Analytics

We use Mixpanel, through our own domain, to see which pages, books and tools people use, where readers stop, and what leads someone to buy or join. It sets a first-party cookie to recognise a returning browser, and links what you do to your account once you sign in. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask first and track nothing until you accept. Elsewhere it is on, and you can turn it off here at any time.

Who processes it for us

• Clerk: Accounts and sign-in: your name, email and profile picture.
• Stripe: Payments for Enhanced Editions. We never see or store your card.
• Mixpanel: Product analytics: the pages and features you use (see below).
• Vercel: Hosting, the database that keeps your library, progress and passport particulars, and anonymous page-view counts.
• Resend: The letters we send: welcome, receipts, replies to your forms.
• beehiiv: The newsletter, if you subscribe.
• Cal.com and Google: Booking a call with us, the calendar invitation and its Google Meet link.
• Cloudflare: Storage of the images you create or upload.
• xAI and Anthropic: Generating dream images, and analysing a design you choose to make real.

Cookies

Sign-in cookies (Clerk); the Mixpanel analytics cookie (above); rml_region and rml_consent, which remember where you are and your analytics answer; and small preference cookies for the theme, the sidebar and Renaissance's one free guest dream.

How long we keep it

Your account, library, reading and purchases for as long as you have an account, and purchase records as long as the law requires. Analytics events for up to five years. Forms and letters for as long as the conversation they belong to.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, or object to its use. Write to menachem@renaissanceml.com and we will answer within a month. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
