Edeneum
Wisdom for internet-native citizens
The theoretical academy of Renaissance. Where Renaissance makes the object, Edeneum examines the idea: the classics read closely, cited exactly and carried into the life of the builder.

The Mind Is a Garden
Eden is where learning began. Adam’s first work in the garden was to name the animals. Abraham reasoned his way to the Creator and stood on one side, with the whole world on the other. Moses brought the teaching down from the mountain; David sang of the man who is like a tree planted by streams of water; Solomon spoke of everything from the cedar to the hyssop, the birds, the ant and the stars; Maimonides set it all in order for the perplexed. The mind is a garden, and it has to be tended.
There is also a physical world, a house where it is studied: in the marketplace called the Agora, in the grove of Akademos, walking the Lyceum. Edeneum is that house for the builders of a second Renaissance: practical and theoretical wisdom, the hands of Betzalel and Oholiav, and the mind at Edeneum.
